Very much looking forward to this blog. I'll be doing the Civil War Chronicles BOM starting in January and it will be fun to read this as I am working on it.
Looking forward to reading and quilting! I'll be making the Civil War BOM as a way to honor my ancestors who fought in the Civil War. Two of my great-grandfathers, plus several of their brothers, including Uncle John DeBolt who was killed in the Battle of Gettysburg, and Uncle Charles Dutcher who died at Millikin's Bend, Louisiana.
I grew up in Kingston, Georgia, where Sherman received his "scorched earth" orders. It was a shock to realize other places had buildings older than the Civil War! Love this idea.
I am so excited about your blog, posts, and blocks and the history you share!!!
I have a dear friend who has been doing these and I am way behind, but hope to try and see what I can do... I consider myself a novice quilter, so it may take me a wee bit longer than most!
Thank you for sharing your talent and knowledge!
Blessings & Aloha! (I am off tomorrow, so will be going to buy some fabric :o)

Oh good...even more for me to learn. I like the simple, straightforward way the information is presented.
