The era in history is not my favorite, but I do love the story you tell with each block. I couldn't resist---I am sewing along. I am enlarging my blocks though to 12 inches rather than the 8. I hope the other's will be as easy to enlarge. Thanks so much for sharing your creativity.
I love the link to the inspiration quilt. It makes it so much more real. I'm waiting for myh FQ bundle to arrive before I can start sewing, but I'm looking forward to it!

I'm going to give it a try, you're explanation is so good, maybe a finaly will get the hang of inch. That's the greatest trouble I have, living in Belgium, we use meters. So fingers crossed and thank you so so much
I set aside a part of my design wall for the blocks...in sight in mind!
