Freedom's Friends Finishes

Unified by Becky Brown

We are finished with the 12 applique blocks for Freedom's Friends. Becky B combined her 12 appliques with 10 pieced circular blocks from the Southern Spin BOM we did last year at my Material Culture blog. The perfect combination. She is binding it this week and we are going to send it off to the American Quilt Study Group to auction it off at the fall meeting in Louisville to benefit the organization.

Becky Collis is getting her 12 blocks bordered.

Georgann Eglinski's 12. She's going to add other patterns
to make it larger.

Deanna Street wanted a larger quilt too so she put 9 blocks on point
in the center diamond and added some setting triangles to fill out
the edge with 2 pieced & 2 appliqued blocks.

Elsie Ridgley set hers in similar fashion, making
four of the Wreath of Hearts (Block #3)

Rebecca Schnekenburger is doing two sets.

Update: Rebecca posted a picture of her blocks in blue, waiting
for the right blue print for a border.

Denniele Bohannon and I have to get our blocks set.

Nancy Bekofske's been keeping our Facebook group entertained
with her progress fussy-cutting one stripe, a reproduction buff and blue rainbow.

See our Facebook page Freedom'sFriendsQuiltBOM here:

And then there's Robyn Gragg who follows her own muse.

Post here with links to all 12 patterns if you want to catch up:
