Repro Prints at Quilt Market

Riviera Rose by Renee Nanneman

I went to Quilt Market last week looking for what was new in repro fabric.
Not much. It was hard to find any 19th-century reprints scheduled for summer and fall delivery.

I pushed the send button too soon. You'll have to wait till Wednesday to read the rest of this post.

Interesting the way the fabric companies have killed the repro interest by TELLING everyone that they don't sell..... and we don't carry..... and then there are the five quilt stores in my area that are GONE GONE GONE. The fabrics you show here are delightful and I will be back Wednesday !!!!!

How fortunate for you that the market was just an hour from home!

Not easy to find here either. Very sad to see that you have had difficulty tracking them down.

This is discouraging news, although I am not surprised. Reproductions have been waning in recent years, much to my chagrin. I know things will eventually come around again, I just hope we can all hold on until then!

Just contact the fabric companies and tell them that we love the 19th c reproduction fabrics and want to see more of them!
I have been working on a series of charm quilts using these fabrics. My goal is to have a total of 10,000 different fabrics in each quilt. Right now I have just over 7,000 fabrics.
Love all of your fabrics and hope to see more in the future!
