  6. Fantastic idea of using a photo in the middle of the star. I copied your idea! Scanned a picture of my great-grandfather, George DeBolt, in his uniform and printed it onto inkjet fabric. He was in a cavalry unit from Indiana along with 2 of his brothers. These 3 joined the Union cause after their oldest brother was killed at the Battle of Gettysburg. This is going to make a wonderful historic quilt!
