After I posted Number 2 I realized I should have done a web search for the inspiration quilt. I found it!

  4. The era in history is not my favorite, but I do love the story you tell with each block. I couldn't resist---I am sewing along. I am enlarging my blocks though to 12 inches rather than the 8. I hope the other's will be as easy to enlarge. Thanks so much for sharing your creativity.

  8. I'm going to give it a try, you're explanation is so good, maybe a finaly will get the hang of inch. That's the greatest trouble I have, living in Belgium, we use meters. So fingers crossed and thank you so so much

  17. Hi Barbara,
I found your blog by accident while I was poking around on the internet and I am really enjoying making the blocks. I am really interested in Reproduction Fabrics and I have quite a few of your books. I am also signed up for your current 'Quilt Detective' newsletter. It is all so very interesting! I have ordered a fat quarter bundle of your latest fabric from Sew Unique and some yardage to complete the quilt - this is going to be alot of fun! Best wishes and thankyou,
    Carol from Mildura, Australia.
